Motor Engine Maintenance
Motor overhaul: It is changing some of the mechanical parts inside the engine or reshaping them in the sense of turning them to remove corrosion and scratches resulting from friction within the internal parts of the engine. In fact, it is divided into two types, namely:
1- semi motor overhaul:
It depends on changing the worn parts with new ones. For example, if the cylinders are intact, the springs and gaskets installed on the pistons are changed, and the protection sheets (alloy) are changed for all the motor hinges, in addition to changing the casting kit, its motion guides, and its oil seal.
2- full motor overhaul:
During which the places of the pistons and springs are expanded by lathing to a larger size and new pistons and springs are purchased to suit the new size, and the ingot is changed, the set of valves and their movement guides and their oil seals, and in the event of wear of the crankshaft, its diameter is reduced by lathing to the smaller diameter with the purchase of the new ingot Fits the new size.
